October 09 EEEK!! My daughter Beth is going to see Enter Shikari tonight at Norwich UEA. Normally I would be fine about her going to see a band..I mean she's been to tons of gigs before and been to Reading Festival 3 times so its not like she isnt used to it. But these guys have a huge following of testosterone fuelled sweaty lads who go pretty mental, crowd surfing a plenty, circle pits etc etc ...plus people keep saying to me."OMG you are letting your 13 year old go to an Enter Shikari gig? and Im now doing the concerned parent thing worrying about her being crushed, or ending up coming home battered & bruised or broken limbs lol. Now dont get me wrong I love these guys..but when we saw them at Reading in 2007 lets just say I had to practically crawl out of the NME tent. Im sure Beth will be fine, she keeps telling me not to worry. October 08 Refreshed I was bored so decided to colour my hair earlier. It was looking a little dull and faded as I had the pink done before I went to Reading festival in August, so I re-did the base colour a dark brown and then refreshed the pink. Think of how many adults read and enjoyed the Harry Potter books. October 03 monkeying around These adorable little fellas have got the right idea...dont you think? When its freezing cold in the mountains of Japan they all congregate in the hot springs to keep warm. AHHHH BLISS!  October 01 Its nearly timeWell folks, its nearly that time of year again...Halloween!! I quite like it to be honest..we have a lot of kids that come round trick or treating and we decorate the window with halloween garlands candles and the obligatory pumpkin that Michael carves each year and have a spooky cd playing in the hallway, that kind of thing. My daughter is going out with friends trick or treating. so I asked her what she was going to dress up as... thinking it would be the corpse bride outfit she has had for the past couple of years...but oh no this year she informs me she is dressing up like this....  The Joker (dressed up as a nurse) from The Dark Knight movie.. Typical, why cant she go as a ghost...easy just a sheet with a couple of holes cut out for the eyes lol Ive been looking on the internet for a nurses outfit... .but I dont think a tight kinky pvc one is quite what Im looking for pmsl I'll keep looking...my son did the makeup for her last night and she looked brilliant.
